Who Does the Work
When you call 1 (254) 244-5184, you're talking to someone who works on garage doors in and around Temple, not a call center reading from a script. We're based at 3500 SW HK Dodgen Loop, Temple, TX 76504, and that's where the trucks go out from each morning.
Most of the homes we work on were built somewhere between 1967 and 2005, with a good chunk of that stock going up in the 1980s and 90s across the different pockets of Temple. That matters more than it sounds like it should - a door and opener from 1988 is a different animal from one installed in 2003, different spring winding, different mounting hardware, sometimes a bracket style you can't buy new anymore. Knowing which era a house falls into saves a trip back out for the wrong part.
We don't claim years in business or a staff count here, because that's not what tells you whether we can fix your door. What tells you that is whether we show up, diagnose it right the first time, and quote you a number that doesn't change once we're under the door.

The Work We Take On
Broken springs - torsion and extension, single and double doors. Cables off the drum. Rollers that have worn down and started grinding in the track. Openers that hum but don't lift, or that lift but won't close all the way. Panels that have taken a hit from a car bumper or a storm and need replacing without replacing the whole door.
Temple sits in a mild climate band with occasional freezes, which isn't the kind of weather that destroys a door the way hail or heavy snow load does elsewhere, but it does mean metal fatigue on springs and hardware happens on a slower, quieter timeline - until the day it doesn't, and the spring lets go all at once. That's most of what we get called out for.
We also handle full door replacements when a repair isn't the better choice - a door with a badly rusted or bent frame, or an opener system old enough that parts for it are no longer made. We'll tell you straight if replacement is the cheaper path over the next few years instead of patching the same door twice.
What We Will Not Do
We don't do same-day emergency promises we can't back
Because we don't have a crew sized to guarantee that on every call, every day. If your spring breaks on a holiday weekend, we'll tell you honestly where you stand in the schedule rather than promise something we might not hit. We don't work on garage doors outside the Temple area listed above - if you're well past Rogers or you're better served by a shop closer to you.
We don't install cheap off-brand openers just to hit a low price point
Because the service calls that follow usually cost the homeowner more than if they'd spent the extra money up front. And we won't tell you a door needs full replacement when a $200 spring job solves it - that's a repair, not a sales opportunity. If a part needs to be special-ordered, we say so and give you a realistic timeline instead of a vague one.

Frequently asked
Straight answers about garage door repair in Temple. Still unsure? Ask us directly.
My house was built in the 1980s - is my garage door original?
Possibly. A lot of Temple's housing dates from the 1980s and '90s, and many of those doors and openers are still the originals. If the spring or opener has never been replaced, it's likely near the end of its service life regardless of how it looks from the outside, since torsion springs wear by cycle count, not appearance.
Do you work outside Temple itself?
Yes. We cover the surrounding area including Morgan's Point Resort, Belton, Troy, Little River-Academy, Nolanville, Salado, Moody, Holland, Harker Heights, Rogers, Bruceville-Eddy - distances range from about five to sixteen miles from Temple.
Why does a freeze matter if winters here are mild?
Temple sits in a mild climate band with only occasional freeze events, so we don't see the hard winter failures some regions do. But an occasional cold snap can still stiffen old grease on rollers and tracks that haven't been serviced, which is a smaller, cheaper problem than what ice-heavy climates deal with.
Is it worth replacing an opener from the 1990s?
Usually, if the circuit board or logic unit is failing rather than just a remote or sensor. Openers from that era weren't built with the safety sensors standard today, and parts for the oldest boards are getting harder to source, so replacement often makes more sense than repair at that age.
